What to expect from your Family Photography Shoot

Hey there, lovely families! So, you’re thinking about capturing some special moments with your tribe, and I’m here to tell you exactly what to expect from a family photography shoot with me, right here in the gorgeous Derbyshire. First off, think of this less like a photo shoot and more like a fun outing with a friend who just happens to have a camera. There’s no need to stress about getting everyone to smile perfectly or pose just right. I believe in capturing your family just as you are – the laughter, the silliness, and even the tantrums. We’ll pick a beautiful outdoor spot or cozy up at your home, wherever you feel most comfortable. My aim is to make this experience as enjoyable and relaxed as possible, creating genuine moments that reflect the unique bond you share. So, let’s create some beautiful memories together, shall we?

Once you have booked your photoshoot with me you will receive a one: one personal consultation where we can discuss your needs, ideas for photographs & location if outdoors. From here you will be sent a session guide which contains a wealth of information including suggestions of what to wear to assist in making your photoshoot a smooth and enjoyable experience. 

During your photoshoot you will have a relaxed, joyful memory making experience where you can be yourselves, enjoy watching me work my magic behind the camera and enjoy memory making and embracing that magical family time. You will leave the photoshoot feeling all fuzzy and warm at how lovely your photographs are going. Oh, and as a little thank you from me you will receive your very own mums party bag (aka goodie bag) 

Once the photographs have been taken you don’t forget about – in fact the very opposite. We will book in a return date straight away to my studio – this is where you get to enjoy a personalised viewing session showing your families legacy gallery on a big screen. I will then guide you through my packages and help you in guiding you and helping you to choose the wall art for your homes or family. Payment is due at this point. 

Finally, as soon as your wall art is ready you will be invited back to collect and digital files will be sent to you to download, back up & share. If your wall art is too big – often I will arrange delivery straight to your home or hand deliver myself.

Yes, I do, it’s an all-inclusive price giving all the families access to the photographs to download aswell as some prints included and wall art vouchers. I can accommodate up to 6/7 in my studio or more outdoors.

Yes I do, I have a wide range of wall art and framing options available to order. I have a wide range of sample products for you to view during your viewing session. All the frames and wall art are hand finished in the UK and ethically produced. I also include wall art vouchers in most of my packages.
