Your baby’s first birthday photoshoot is a big deal! I want you to walk away having the absolute best experience, so we plan as much as we can together.
Through the consultation, I get to know you and your family a bit more, find out what your goal is for the session, what styling you would like, what colours dominate in your home.
I want to know as much about you as I can: what makes you and your baby smile, how would you like for them to be photographed, where you are planning on displaying your images.
There is a lot of planning that goes into your cake smash session, but I can assure you, it will all be worthwhile, because the images we create together will not only document this moment in time. They will make you smile for years to come.

Once you have made your booking with me you will receive a consultation where we can discuss outfits & what to bring on the day. This is followed by an e guide with a wealth of inspiration and ideas and also my full pricing guide – so no hidden costs. At this point I will also send you information on family photography too so that you can get organised for your next full family photoshoot as your little one grows.
On the day of the shoot, which is around 45 mins studio time, I will make your little one feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they step through the studio door. I know all too well it can be a little overwhelming for a little one that may have power napped on the journey to my studio – to then awake in a strange place.
We have a fantastic little toy box and snacks to really get your little one at their best and feeling at ease before the shoot. During the session you will see me work my magic creating those treasured, timeless portraits of your little one whilst you relax and admire the huge selection of outfits to choose from and wall art displays.
We start with some portraits and then move on to capturing your baby with the cake – this is completely baby led in terms of what they do with the cake some faceplant, some dig their hands in, others like to bash with the spoon.
We then finish up with a fun bath splash to get your child all fresh and clean.
After this, you will be invited back for your personalised viewing session where you can choose your package and wall art –this is where you pay and book in your next family session.
I then send you your digital files to back up, keep and share and your wall art is ordered for collection
